PLM in the Modern Supply Chain

It takes a Supply Chain to design, engineer, make, deliver, sell, support, service and continuously improve products. Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) in the supply chain differs from other business processes such as B2B Commerce or Logistics because of the inherent dynamism as well as the large number of organizations, processes, people and data types that are involved. Traditional approaches and techniques that are rigid (Enterprise application integration, design and engineering focused data management) fail to support PLM processes properly in the Supply Chain.

ZPLM is designed from ground up with the notion that PLM in the Supply Chain is free flowing and continuously evolving. As a result collaboration and coordination of key PLM business processes in ZPLM happen dynamically and naturally in the supply chain throughout the product lifecycle.
